The Betrayed Monarch
Pluie, famine, guerre en Perse non cessu00e9e,
La foi trop grande trahira le monarque:
Par la finie en Gaule commencu00e9e,
Secret augure pour u00e0 un estre.
Rain, famine, war in Persia unceasing,
faith too great will betray the monarch:
by the one finished in Gaul begun,
a secret augury for one to be.
THE MASTER SAYS…
Part of this quatrain has already happened in the recent past, and part is still approaching. The phrase “too much faith will betray the monarch” relates to the overthrow of the Shah of Iran and to the fact that the rise of the fundamentalist sect of Islam in Iran was the main cause of these unrests. From our point of view, the events have not yet fully unfolded. Therefore this quatrain is in the process of being fulfilled. “A sign to be economical” relates to many political troubles still occurring in this part of the world. Someone who will help the Antichrist come to power will understand that in exchange for indiscriminate executors, some of them, thanks to their connections, will be useful to him and to the Antichrist. Thus, he brings them difficult times. “What began (actions) in France” concerns President Ayatollah, because he was in exile in France. This means that the Ayatollah developed many of his ideas regarding coming to power and governing a fundamentalist state while in exile. He began with a distorted perception of the world, and it was reinforced during his stay in France. It was there that he honed some of his ideas, and they changed only slightly. In the end he did indeed come to power.
