CENTURIA III · QUATRAIN XVII
The Burning Hill
Mont Aventine brusler nuict sera veu,
Le ciel obscur tout a un coup en Flandres:
Quand le monarque chassera son nepveu,
Leurs gens d'Eglise commettront les esclandres.
The Aventine hill will be seen burning at night,
the sky dark all at once over Flanders:
when the monarch drives out his nephew,
their churchmen will commit the scandals.
THE MASTER SAYS…
He says that there are two different meanings here, one of which has already manifested in the past. The other meaning is connected with future events. The Aventine Hill, engulfed in fire, refers to the Antichrist’s destruction of Rome, because it is one of the seven hills of Rome. The sky of Flanders will suddenly darken, to some extent relates to how the climate will be disrupted due to changes on earth. It also points to the smoke and dust raised by land armies, both marching and fighting. You will notice that wherever a battle took place or the noise of violence rose, a storm always appeared afterwards. Those who fight have observed this. This is connected with the fact that the central source of energy knows that battle is in contradiction with what the entire Universe is trying to accomplish. And so the wisdom of the earth saw that the fastest way to stop a battle is to pour rain on it, and no one will want to fight. The king drove out his nephew, and the priest caused a scandal — this means that in the process of taking over the Catholic Church, the Antichrist will disinherit the Roman Pope and excommunicate some cardinals, who will cause a big scandal in the church, revealing other scandalous facts that are taking place. The nephew means the cardinals who were excommunicated.
