The Speaking Beasts
Quand l'animal a l'homme domestique,
Apres grands peines & sauts viendra parler,
De fouldre a vierge sera si malfique,
De terre prinse & suspendue en l'air.
When the animal, tame to man,
after great pains and leaps comes to speak,
the lightning at the virgin will be so baleful,
taken from the earth and suspended in the air.
