The Banished Monarch
Le vieux monarque dechasse de son regne,
Aux Orients son secours ira querre:
Pour peur des croix ployera son enseigne,
En Mitylene ira par port & par terre.
The old monarch, driven from his throne,
to the Orient will go to seek his succor:
for fear of the crosses he will furl his banner,
to Mitylene he will go by sea and by land.
THE MASTER SAYS…
This quatrain describes the Shah of Iran and the overthrow of his government. He says that it is important to understand that any type of fundamentalist fascism will affect people. Nostradamus also said through Brenda that if a quatrain predicted events that had already happened in the past, he would prefer to skip their meaning in order to devote time to those that concern our near future. He emphasized this again, repeating the same instructions through John. He himself decided which were most important for us.
