CENTURIA IV · QUATRAIN X
The Accused Prince
Le jeune prince accuse faulcement,
Mettra en trouble le camp & en querelle:
Meurtri le chef pour le soustenement,
Sceptre appaiser: puis guerir escrouelles.
The young prince falsely accused,
will bring the camp into trouble and quarrel:
the chief murdered for the support,
the scepter appeased: then to cure the scrofula.
THE MASTER SAYS…
This quatrain relates to England in the future. Difficulties lie ahead in the line of succession of the children of Prince Charles who have already been born. What does he mean when he says that “the leader is killed”? He says that it is not good to predict the death of other people. He does not want to talk about it? He says that it is not good for you to talk about it now. But this quatrain has to do with the order of succession to the English throne. Tell him that many of his prophecies are connected with death, and it will be difficult for me to find one not connected with death. Some of them are very gloomy. Talk of death upsets him. Good. If there are any quatrains he would not like to talk about, let me know. It seems that Nostradamus had to come to terms with his visions and develop an objective position, as his abilities improved.
