The Twelve Reds
Celui qu'aura gouvert de la grand cappe,
Sera induict a quelques cas patrer,
Les douze rouges viendront fouiller la nappe.
Soubz meutre, meutre se viendra perpetrer.
He who has governed under the great cape,
will be led to certain cases to trample,
the twelve reds will come to rummage the tablecloth.
Under murder, murder will come to be perpetrated.
THE MASTER SAYS…
This quatrain relates to the rise of the Tsar and the Russian aristocracy, and its humiliation by the Communist Party at that time. Who are the twelve reds? Red soldiers. “The government of the great mantle.” Does this refer to communism? No. The aristocracy of Russia lived under the great mantle. The mantle is supposed to protect, but only a few people were protected by this mantle. The rest were forced to defend themselves. “Twelve reds will come and spoil the surface.” This line marks the liberation march of the Marxist and Communist Party. Translators connect this quatrain with the Pope and his twelve cardinals.
