CENTURIA IX · QUATRAIN XII

The Silver Lake

Le tant d'argent de Diane & Mercure,

Les simulacres au lac seront trouvez,

Le figulier cherchant argille neufve,

Lui & les siens d'or seront abbrevez.

So much silver of Diana and Mercury,

the images shall be found at the lake,

the potter seeking new clay,

he and his own shall be provided with gold.

THE MASTER SAYS…

My first impression was that the silver relates to real extraterrestrial mining. In the first sentences I saw planets. The lake seems to refer to an actual mercury lake located on another planet. Mercury, of course, looks silvery. They both have the same luster. And the one who discovers this and uses it will find treasures beyond physical mineral metals. Gold will not be a natural source of precious metals. It will be contact with living beings of this other planet. People from Earth will find treasure on another planet. They are already looking for sources of metals. These precious metals exist in concentrated quantities on other planets. On that particular planet that I see, there are huge resources. Mercury is actually in the form of a lake. It is so huge, so shiny, so concentrated in one place that it can be seen even from space. I see it in the mirror as a giant, shiny, silvery, shimmering, moving metallic lake. It so fascinates geologists who want to mine resources on other planets. They have discovered this huge resource that they can mine, and it is very important for the scientific and technical community. However, what they find when they get there infinitely surpasses silver or mercury. Gold, as you know, is valued much more. But the gold that people receive is the realization that other life forms inhabit this place. It does not literally mean that they will be covered in gold. This other planet is in our Solar System. As soon as you said the word “Diana,” it immediately seemed to me that this is a planet in our Solar System. I have no name for it. It seems to be a planet to which we have access, although it may be a satellite. We call them “moons.” Nostradamus believes that this is one of the reasons for space exploration — the discovery of new resources. The search for new minerals, new metals never ends, but the ways of using already discovered resources also seem endless. So they cannot go wrong. They will either discover more of what they already need, or something completely new. Knowledge of resources is itself a form of knowledge. This is what “The sculptor seeking new clay” means. This will happen in the future, because we have not done this yet. But not in the distant future. And he believes that this will probably be in our Solar System, and not somewhere in the galaxies. It will be found on a satellite of a planet, not on the planet itself.
