CENTURIA XII · QUATRAIN LXXI
The Rivers Stand Guard
Fleuves, rivieres de mal seront obstacles,
La vieille flame du2019ire non appaisee,
Courir en France, cecy comme du2019oracles,
Maisons, manoirs, palais, secte rasee.
Rivers, streams shall be an obstacle to evil,
the ancient flame of wrath not appeased,
running through France, this as from oracles,
houses, manors, palaces, the sect razed.
THE MASTER SAYS…
He says that this stanza again relates to biological warfare that will be waged in France. He says that the streams and rivers being an obstacle to evil mean that animals dying from microbes will be too weak to cross the rivers. Therefore one area of land can be protected by the location of rivers and the like. He says that it also relates to nuclear war, and that anyone exposed to radiation should immerse themselves in running water to wash everything off their clothes and skin. He says, yes; it will wash the radiation off them before it has time to penetrate the skin. In your time this is known as a common antidote to radiation. He says that this is part of the same thing, part of the war. And biological. And nuclear.
