The Round Mountain
La grand montagne ronde de sept estades,
Apru00e8s paix, guerre, faim, inondation,
Roulera loing, abysmant grand contrades,
Mesmes antigues, & grand fondation.
The great round mountain of seven stadia,
after peace, war, hunger, flooding,
will roll far off, engulfing great countries,
even ancient ones, & a great foundation.
THE MASTER SAYS…
Nostradamus says that this quatrain is an example of an allegorical prophecy saturated with symbolism. The mountain he speaks of represents the development of a new philosophy of thinking that will correspond to the new realities of future life. The concept of the mountain seems simplified at first glance, but if one examines the question more deeply, it contains a profound meaning: “seven stadia in circumference” is a symbolic presentation of the seven basic principles of the new philosophy, from which the advanced thinking of the future earthly civilization is destined to develop. Against the background of impressive successes in all spheres of development and a significant rise in the standard of living of people in the distant future, the new philosophy will not allow humanity to relax: it will make clear that in life there are higher values, and not only well-being and glory. A new style of thinking, new social principles of behavior will be the main characteristics of the “golden” Age of Aquarius.
