CENTURIA X · QUATRAIN XCVI
The Religion of the Seas
Religion du nom des mers vaincra,
Contre le secte fils Adaluncatif,
Secte obstinee deploree craindra,
Des deux blessez par Aleph & Aleph.
The religion of the name of the seas will win,
against the sect of the son Adaluncatif,
the stubborn, deplorable sect will fear
the two wounded by Aleph and Aleph.
THE MASTER SAYS…
The last part is translated as “wounded by A and A. Aleph and Aleph,” because these are letters of Hebrew and Arabic. (He sharply corrected my pronunciation of the word “Aleph.”) He says there is no letter “t” at the end. He says the Hebrew alphabet consists of: aleph, bet, gimel, dalet, he, vav, zayin, het, tet, and so on. But he says it begins with Aleph. He says that this relates to the period of restoring peace after the Antichrist. When the Antichrist disappears, most organized religions will be in complete chaos, especially Christianity. Peace will become the main philosophical point of view with which everyone will agree. Everyone wants peace. Therefore Nostradamus used the phrase “religion named after the seas will win.” And he says that “Pacific Ocean,” the name of the Pacific Ocean, is one of the words that can also mean “peace.” He says that this feeling will be so strong that it will become almost a religion. It will prevail over all other religions and beliefs. Many people may remain loyal to their old religion, but their main desire will be peace. Now we move on to this strange name — Adaluncatif. He says that this refers to the Antichrist. Why did he use such a strange word? He says that this refers to some fragments of information from the Kabbalah. Those familiar with this information will be able to understand more about the Antichrist. Now we move on to the letters. “The stubborn, pitiful sect will fear two men wounded by Aleph and Aleph.” (He again corrected my pronunciation.) No “t,” only Aleph. (Patronizingly) He says that this symbolizes the defeat of the Antichrist. He says that he has already explained this quatrain. Why do you keep…? Because these are the first letters of the Arabic alphabet? No. “The pitiful sect” refers to the Antichrist and his followers. He will be defeated first by a fighter, a hero, the main one who will rise to fight against the Antichrist (Ogmios). And then he will also be defeated by the genius who will appear later. So the letters A and A refer to them. That is what I wanted to clarify. Translators thought that he meant some Arabic name beginning with A. That was as close to the truth as possible. (Pause) I think he is referring here to a French idiom. It really does not make much sense. But he says: “Well, then, for breakfast they had beetroot porridge.” Beetroot porridge? I get the impression that a person would not voluntarily eat beetroot porridge for breakfast. And those who do are probably crazy. Oh, it is some kind of idiom. (Laughs) Probably it is difficult for him to understand some of our slang expressions.
