He says that three years and seven months after America is drawn into World War II, it will drop a bomb on Japan and thereby put an end to this bloodiest war in human history. Nostradamus says that he knows what he is talking about, and your understanding of this quatrain is incorrect. It refers to the time when the atomic bomb appears on the arena of military operations. This weapon will make the concept of using force meaningless forever. The two rebelling nuns personify two scientists participating in the development of the project.
