The Wall and the Prince
De deuil mourra l'infelix proflige,
Celebrera son vitrix l'hecatombe:
Pristine loi franc edict redige,
Le mur & Prince au septiesme jour tombe.
Of grief will die the luckless outcast,
will celebrate his victrix with a hecatomb:
pristine law, a free edict drawn up,
the wall and the Prince on the seventh day fall.
THE MASTER SAYS…
It refers to the current political structure in China, but the Berlin Wall in Germany is also shown. This is a case where one quatrain relates to two events. The prince is the current ruler, and his time is coming to an end. The wall, of course, will also be the wall of communism. Seven days is the period from the interrogation of the current leader, the prince, by his subordinates. It is mainly about a change of government. The seventh day will be either Sunday or Saturday. That is when the resignation will occur, whichever day is considered the seventh. The “victorious consort” will become the new ruler chosen by the people. Then it will no longer be a communist government? The government will strive for democracy. And what concerns Germany will happen very soon.
