The Great Crescent
Crier victoire du grand Selin croissant,

To cry the victory of the great crescent Selin,
by the Romans the Eagle will be acclaimed.
Pavia, Milan, and Genoa do not consent,
Then by themselves the great Basil is proclaimed.
THE MASTER SAYS…
He says that this verse is about the Mafia. He says that originally the Mafia originated in Sicily and Southern Italy, and this was their center of operations and base of power. The verse tells how they transferred their main operations and base of power to the United States. “To loudly proclaim the victory of the great crescent.” What does the crescent symbolize? The crescent symbolizes a large city surrounded by a crescent-shaped bay. It symbolizes their having enough power in that city to effectively control it. Is this a city in the United States or in Italy? He says it is a city in Italy where they originated. “The eagle will be proclaimed by the Romans.” Is the eagle the United States? Yes, and the Romans represent the Mafia, the Italians. I assume the other names are cities in Italy? Yes. They represent rival organizations that decided to stay in Italy rather than move to the United States. “Then the great lord will be proclaimed by themselves.” When the Sicilian branch of the Mafia came to the United States, it became an independent force, rather than cooperating with other organizations in Italy that remained there. They made decisions independently of other organizations and chose their leaders accordingly. I think this is the first prophecy connected with the Mafia. He must have considered them important. He says that because of their negative influence and participation in so-called “organized crime,” they are capable of influencing history. They have great power, and therefore they can influence many people. Interpreters said that this is a retrospective prophecy. In other words, it came true before the time of Nostradamus. They connect it with the Ottoman and Holy Roman Empires, whose symbols were the crescent and the eagle. He says that he understands why they draw this parallel, but not everything is as it seems.
