The Antichrist’s Pope
Le grand Prelat un jour apres son songe,
Interprete au rebours de son sens:
De la Gascogne lui surviendra un monge,
Qui fera eslire le grand Prelat de sens.
The great Prelate one day after his dream,
interprets it contrary to its sense:
From Gascony a monk will come upon him,
who will bring about the election of the great Prelate of sense.
THE MASTER SAYS…
He says that this quatrain relates to the election of the last pope. The one whom Nostradamus calls the tool of the Antichrist? He says that at that time there will be much confusion, many changes and disturbances. Everything will be ready for change, because discontent will gradually grow at the grassroots level. Many people will at first support the Antichrist simply because they want change, and they will not understand what he represents. Others will support change not because they support the Antichrist, but because they know: if everything is shaken, there will be more chances to create a new system, for example, a new government or something similar. This shows what influence the Antichrist will have on his mind. He wants to become pope — he will become pope — but it will be an anti-pope, because the Antichrist will be able to influence his mind, using his psychic abilities for wrong purposes. No. This is one of those who will fight for liberation. He says that this monk will be philosophically minded, saying: “The darkest hour is just before dawn.” The monk will know that this prelate will become the last pope of the Catholic Church. And that the whole structure can be destroyed and started anew. Therefore he will contribute to things turning out exactly as they did, even though he fights the Antichrist. Because he sees that fixing the situation as a whole will be better if some dead, rotten branches of the structure are removed. Nostradamus says that he helps and uses all his influence to secure the election of this pope, because he knows that this will be the last pope. He says that over the centuries the church has rotted through and has been involved in a power struggle that has nothing to do with spirituality. Humanity cannot progress while the Catholic Church hangs around its neck like a stone.
