THE MASTER SAYS…
He says that this is one of his quotes, and it has several meanings. On the one hand, it relates to the communication failure that led to the United States’ entry into World War II. It also relates to the dropping of atomic bombs on Japan. And “Comet among the bees” refers to the aircraft carrying those atomic bombs. He says that it relates to communication satellites and similar devices developed at the end of the 20th century. He says that, because they are above the atmosphere, they make no sound. And he says that many are disturbed by this, since it is used for espionage. He says that it relates to the breakdown of communication between America and Japan that led to America’s entry into World War II. He says that writings on sand make about as much sense as diplomatic promises. Especially when it comes to two such different cultures as the United States and Japan. He says that communicating was very difficult, because they had different protocols and different standards of manners and politeness. He says that this is implied in the part where communication satellites and the like are mentioned.
