The Overturned Cup
Entre deux couples piedz & mains estaches,
De miel face oingt & de laict substantie:
Guespes & mouches, fausse amour faches,
Pocelateur faucher, Cypre tempeste.
Between two couplings feet and hands bound,
The face anointed with honey and sustained on milk:
Wasps and flies, false love embittered,
The cup-bearer cut down, Cyprus tempest-tossed.
